Rotorsim has had its CAE 3000 Series AW139 full flight simulator (FFS) certified to Level D by the ENAC (the Italian Civil Aviation Authority). The new AW139 FFS was jointly developed by AgustaWestland and CAE and it is the third for Rotorsim and the second located at the AgustaWestland Training Academy in Sesto Calende, Italy. The simulator is installed in the facility’s new simulation building which will include up to nine FFSs and five FTDs (flight training devices) further expanding the Training Academy capabilities.
