FlightSafety International’s first FS1000 full flight simulator will enter service at the company’s Learning Center in Long Beach, California. Training using this new Gulfstream G650 simulator is scheduled to begin in July 2014. The new FS1000 simulators are designed to enhance training and maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s latest innovations in technology. A completely new Instruction Operating Station has been designed to provide instructors with a highly productive and efficient work space equipped with an intuitive interface, scalable graphics, and large multi touch displays. The simulator offers close to twice the amount of interior space for flight instructors, and observers compared to previous generation simulators.
