FLIGHT SIMULATORS
Frasca International, Inc. is to provide a CAAC Level 5 TruFlite™ R44/S300 convertible flight training device (FTD) to Xilin Fengteng GA Corporation, Guanghang, Sichuan Province, China. The FTD will primarily be used for training in emergency situations.
The R44 FTD is will accurately replicate the R44 aircraft, including all panels, controls and instrumentation and will be convertible to an S300 configuration as well. It will also have FRASCA’s TruVision™ visual system.
Frasca has also contracted with HNZ Group Inc. based in Montreal, Canada, for the supply of an AS350 Level 7 flight training device (FTD). The FTD will be convertible between three different configurations of the aircraft including the AS350B2 analog instrument panel, the AS350B2 VEMD instrument panel and the AS350B3e VEMD instrument panel. This will be the first Level 7 flight training device certified in Canada.
The FTD will be installed inside the airport terminal at Edmonton International Airport and will be used for initial and recurrent training for pilots flying demanding missions in remote areas of Canada. It will also be made available for training use by other Canadian helicopter operators.
