CAE and Air Europa have extended their relationship with a new, long-term exclusive pilot training agreement. The contract was included as an agreement to an undisclosed customer that was reported in December.
CAE will provide training for Air Europa's Embraer E195 pilots at CAE's training centres in Gatwick (UK), and Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and for the airline's Airbus A330 pilots at CAE training centres in Madrid (Spain), Rome (Italy) and Gatwick. CAE will also provide the airline with safety training for its pilots and cabin crew in Madrid.
Air Europa has been a CAE customer since 2005, and CAE has been operating its training centre in Palma de Mallorca as part of an agreement to provide the airline with its future A330 pilots.
