L3 Commercial Training Solutions business (L3 CTS) has sold eight RealitySeven full flight simulators (FFS) so far this calendar year as well as landing contracts to deliver airline pilot training programs, pilot resourcing and mid-level and classroom devices, totalling more than US$115 million in worth.

In 2018, a B787-9 configuration FFS will be delivered to Air France and an A320 configuration will be delivered to Chengdu Airlines; two A320 configurations will be delivered to Sichuan Airlines in 2018 and 2019; two will be delivered to Shenzhen Airlines in 2018 (one B737 and one A320); and two will be delivered to All Nippon Airways in 2019 (one B737 and one A320). The classroom training solutions are being provided for customers in North America.

Its new contracts will see L3 CTS provide Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) and Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) cadet pilot programs for airline customers in Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions, with commitments to enrol over 100 MPL trainees into the airline academy in 2017.

The company has also entered into new Boeing 737 Type Rating training agreements and dry simulator provision for airline customers in Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions, and is currently involved in the ongoing recurrent training for the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
