Avsoft is pleased to announce the release of TCAS 7.1 Course.
Avsoft’s TCAS/ACAS eLearning course provides pilots and flight dispatchers with a comprehensive description of the Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), which is the currently available implementation of the ICAO Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS) concept, and the various features this system incorporates to alert flight crews to possible conflicts with other traffic. This course covers Version 6.04, Version 7.0, and Version 7.1 software.
Topics covered in this course include TCAS history, general system description, indications, Traffic Advisories (TAs), Resolution Advisories (RAs), and level off techniques. This course is designed to provide Recurrent Training for pilots and flight dispatchers. Avsoft’s TCAS 7.1 course delivers approximately 1 hour of comprehensive training.
