Hong Kong Airlines to introduce TMDS from Pelesys

Hong Kong Airlines has chosen Pelesys’ Training Management and Deployment System (TMDS) to meet its flight crew and cabin crew training management and reporting requirements.

The carrier will use Pelesys' Qualification Management System (QMS) to monitor, aggregate, and maintain flight and cabin crew qualifications. The QMS module is a rule-based solution that automates the management process for tracking qualification requirements of flight crews, maintenance engineers, dispatchers, and any other employees that require qualification monitoring for regulatory compliance management.

Along with Pelesys QMS, Hong Kong Airlines’ flight crew will also adopt Pelesys’ Electronic Training Records (ETR) system, which provides electronic grading and data collection to manage all current assessments conducted within the Hong Kong Airlines training program. Pelesys’ ETR module is provided in partnership with Logitude Ltd.

Pelesys' systems will provide the necessary support and capability for a transition to a full Evidence-Based Training (EBT) program in the future, eventually eliminating paper based records.
