CPaT Global to provide Distance Learning Solutions for Icelandair

Icelandair has selected CPaT Global to provide tailored Distance Learning Solutions to meet its pilot training needs.

Under the new agreement, Icelandair will employ CPaT Global’s Learning Management System (LMS) to provide classroom and mobile training for its Boeing B737 MAX, 757 and 767 pilots.  Captain Gudni Ingolfsson, Icelandair’s Director of Crew Training, explains, “Icelandair is growing and developing. It is important for me as the Director of Crew Training to provide our pilots with good training aids. CPaT was the best solution we found, as they tailor CBT courses to our fleets, offer highly interactive teaching tools and the unique ability to integrate our training materials to the system.

“Now our internally-created training materials can be assigned and tracked on/offline using any device,” Ingolfsson continues. “CPaT also addressed both our operational training needs and IT demands as they connect with our existing records system. Icelandair seeks to incorporate only technologies which afford us the greatest options. Bottom line, CPaT’s system allows us to remain in control of our Distance Learning. We couldn’t be happier.”

Elsewhere, CPaT Global recently introduced an upgraded General Subjects Library.
