The new Air Georgian Tuition Assistance Programme provides employees with financial assistance for educational courses and programmes as well as paid time off to pursue personal and professional educational goals.
All Air Georgian pilots are guaranteed an interview with Air Canada through a Pilot Mobility Arrangement. Because Air Canada values post-secondary education, the carrier has introduced the new tuition assistance programme to help its pilots be the best candidates possible for the Air Canada recruitment process.
“A well-rounded education coupled with continuous learning is important for the success of our organisation and our employees,” said Eric Edmondson, President and CEO of Air Georgian.
Air Georgian also has a pilot recruitment agreement in place with Ottawa Aviation Services.
