AXIS Flight Training Systems has completed motion testing on its latest simulator for Aviation Academy Austria (AAA).
The manufacturer has used Bosch-Rexroth's eMotion 14000 platform for this ATR 72-600 simulator. Highly efficient and able to support up to 80% of the payload, the eMotion 14000 reduces energy consumption and device wear.
Dr. Christian Theuermann, CEO of AXIS Flight Training Systems in Austria commented: "This is the first time we have chosen to use Bosch-Rexroth's eMotion14000 platform and we are extremely pleased with the results. The simulator will now undergo EASA FSTD certification, expected to be completed by the end of June.
