FlightSafety International now offers training for the Part 107 Remote Pilot License Written Test. This eLearning course is designed to help those who want to obtain an FAA Commercial Remote Pilot License to be fully prepared for the exam.

“Our comprehensive Part 107 Remote Pilot License Written Test is the first in our series of Remote Pilot ground and flight training courses designed to help UAS operators achieve the highest levels of safety and proficiency,” said Ray Johns, Executive Vice President. “Our Safety Management Systems course for UAS Professional Aviators and UAS Flight Risk Assessment Tool, designed for drone operations and supported by FlightSafety International’s FlightBag Application, will be released in mid-November.”

In addition to these eLearning courses, FlightSafety will begin delivering practical flight training for drones in January of 2019 at its Learning Centers across the U.S. These practical courses will include an Advanced Remote Pilot Proficiency Series - Course 1 and Course 2, with industry specific courses following soon thereafter. These courses features a set of training elements designed to propel drone pilots into the commercial sector with the skills and tools to operate as a commercial remote pilot.

The core curriculum is designed to train professional aviators to operate their Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) in various industries and features a new Crew/Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) eLearning course designed specifically for UAS Professional Aviators and other UAS crew members. This course will be available in December 2018. FlightSafety also provides customized training courses for operators upon request.
