Workshop on "Commercial Technologies and Games for Use in NATO and Nations" (MSG-153) to be held in Florence, Italy, on 28th September 2017, co-located with CAX Forum 2017. This workshop is being planned to share national experiences, explore commercial and games technologies, understand best practices, and to identify barriers to further exploitation and ways these might be overcome. The deadline for enrolment is September 22, 2017.Demonstration of "M&S as a Service" (MSG-136) at CAX Forum (Florence - 26-29 September 2017). It will be a live demo with three vignettes: Individual Training Exercise of Maritime Interdiction and Coalition Fires; Individual and Team training for naval C4ISTAR Operation; and Individual Training of Radio/C2 Operator.

Symposium on "M&S Technologies and Standards for Enbaling Alliance Interoperability and Pervasive M&S Applications" (MSG-149) to be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from October 19 to 20, 2017. This Symposium will look at developments to expand NATO's M&S capabilities by providing cost-effective and valid simulation tools. Developments of special interest include emerging technologies, real-world modelling (terrain, sensors and behaviour), interoperability improvements, and support operations and capability planning. The deadline for enrolment is September 30, 2017.

Demonstration of "M&S as a Service" (MSG-136) during I/ITSEC (Orlando, USA, November 27 to December 1, 2017) at the NATO booth. The demo will include Multimedia Sensing as a Service (MSaaS) for Decision Support; the constructive simulation PAXSEM from Airbus; Synthetic Environment Service (SES) from CPA Geo-Information, Route Planning Service (RPS) from FFI, the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment; and the Command and Control system FüInfoSysH from the German Armed Forces.

Demonstration of Operationalization of Standardized C2-Simulation Interoperability (MSG-145) during I/ITSEC (Orlando, USA, November 27 to December 1, 2017) at the NATO booth. There will be a demonstration of the C2SIM SandBox, intended to provide a remote initial operational capability for Nations to perform test and evaluation of national C2 and Simulation standardized interfaces.
