The Colombian Air Force welcomes a multi-cockpit Mission Training Center (MTC) from Elbit Systems into their training repertoire. The MTC simulates battlefield training for a variety of aircrafts and systems.
The Colombian Air Force mission training system draws on Elbit Systems’ experience with the SkyBreaker Mission Training Center, implementing the company’s ”Train as You Fight” concept for pilots, squadrons and ground controllers. The system will help provide them with realistic, up-to-date training exercises while saving actual flight hours.
“We are proud to inaugurate the MTC for the Colombian Air Force,” said Yoram Shmuely, general manager of Elbit Systems Aerospace Division. “it attests to the growing demand for all-inclusive interconnected simulation platforms that enhance the quality of training while reducing operational costs.”
