Inzpire’s GECO Air, a tablet-based mission system, entered service with the Indonesian Air Force. The GECO will be used for Su-27, Su-30, F-16, Hawk, T-50 and Super Tucano aircraft training.

Following a contract signing in summer 2017, Inzpire’s Missions Systems team undertook a comprehensive integration program with the Indonesian Air Force, conducting the first training and flight test by early November.

GECO Air is designed to complement existing onboard avionics systems by bringing commercial off-the-shelf hardware technology to the cockpit. It can be used as a stand-alone device or integrated directly into an aircraft.

Its suite of situational awareness and safety assistance apps includes advanced navigation features over a wide range of mapping and satellite imagery, designed to buy aircrew time and improve decision-making.
