ASTi-delivers-Voisus-Communication-Systems-to-Armys-SVCT-program

ASTi, a provider of artificially intelligent and voice-enabled virtual role-players, is delivering its Voisus simulated radio communication systems and support to the U.S. Army's Stryker Virtual Collective Trainer (SVCT) program for 30 Stryker simulators. The SVCT program is led by the U.S. Army’s Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) and the Combined Arms Center – Training Innovation Facility (CAC-TIF)

Voisus is a suite of modular communications and sound products that can be integrated to meet live, virtual, constructive, and gaming needs. The products offer simulation-based features, such as interoperable voice comms and synthetic 3D sound, to deliver realistic effects for live, virtual, constructive, and gaming (LVC-G) environments. ASTi is delivering 30 Stryker simulators that feature a simulated radio and intercom communication system, hardware replications of Stryker Full-Function Crew Station (FFCS) control panels and stacked PRC-119 ASIP radio skins on tablets.

Voisus will integrate out-of-the-box with the Army’s military headsets and Games For Training (GFT). ASTi will provide its Information Assurance (IA) maintenance program for quarterly software-hardening packages.

The Army also purchased ASTi’s Voisus Simscribe, a networked capture-and-replay tool that facilitates after-action review of voice traffic and lets users jump to key events with Simscribe’s interface controls, time stamps and event annotation.
