Esterline Simulation Visual Systems, an Esterline Avionics Systems business of Esterline Corporation, announced the market introduction of its new rear-projection dome displays for fast-jet training at I/ITSEC.

Esterline is expanding its product offerings of TREALITY® rear-projection domes to a new family of displays designated as TREALITY RP-X. The TREALITY RP-X products feature a full 360-degree field of view, use the latest projector technologies to achieve lowest total cost of ownership and pair image quality with a compact footprint.

The new family of TREALITY RP-X domes are compatible with applications requiring separate NVG image generator channels, can achieve eye-limiting resolution and can be used to display full 3D stereoscopic simulation images.

Michel Potvin, President, Esterline Avionics Systems, said: “The TREALITY RP-X dome is the fruit of Esterline’s years of experience as the leader in visual display systems for full mission flight simulators. It is also the result of Esterline’s continuous quest for innovation and improvement. The TREALITY RP-X combines our know-how with the latest projection and screen technologies to create a new generation of TREALITY visual display systems without compromises, and matches the most demanding simulator display requirements.”
