Immersive Display Solutions appoints new president

Immersive Display Solutions has appointed industry veteranAndrew W. Jamison as president. In this new role, Jamison will be responsiblefor the company’s global operations and contribute to its strategies forgo-to-market, products and services. Reporting to Jamison will be the sales,operations and technology business units.

Jamison joins IDSI with 35 years of experience in thetechnology sector and 12 years specifically in the military simulation market.Previously, he served as CEO of Scalable Display Technologies, a strategicsoftware partner of IDSI. During his years working in the military simulationindustry, Jamison worked directly on many major programs for all branches ofthe U.S. Armed Forces. Jamison has experience managing rapid growth from start-upsinto established companies.  Early in hiscareer Jamison was one of the first employees at video conferencing pioneerPictureTel.  Jamison holds a Bachelor ofScience in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
