On May 14-15, VI-grade will invite executive managers and experienced engineers at automotive and transportation companies, engineering firms, universities and research centers from all over the world to Hanau, Germany, for an international conference where Barco is a golden sponsor. VI-grade will be showcasing current solutions and development plans for real-time simulation, HIL, SIL, traffic simulation and vehicle energy efficiency – right down to tire modeling.
The conference will focus on how driving simulators can helpaccelerate product development, ultimately saving time and cost and improvingproduct quality and safety. Special attention will go to trending disciplinessuch as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. It issignificant that Barco visual displays are being used throughout the event,including an informal get-together at Honda Europe R&D center in Offenbachon May 13th, powered by Barco, to reveal the first fully installed DiM250driving simulator live and in action.
Two Barco FL40s will be showcased in a compact, interactiveVI-grade driving simulator showing dynamic vehicle scenarios, projecting on adome shaped screen provided by project: syntropy and aligned usingdomeprojection.com ProjectionTools.
One Barco FL40 will be showcased in a compact VI-gradedriving simulator that will be demonstrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems(ADAS) scenarios featuring eye-tracking technology from SmartEye and radartechnology from Konrad.
