Alion Science and Technology’s newly developed Resilient Command, Control, and Communications Integrated Solution (RC3IS) was selected from over 300 candidate entries to participate in the AFWERX FUSION Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) Showcase. PLEXSYS is a member of the RC3IS consortium with the inclusion of its real-time interactive simulation tool: Advanced Simulation Combat Operations Trainer (ASCOT).

The RC3IS was developed and integrated through a consortium approach, leveraging the talents of numerous expert companies in command and control. It is a flexible, inter-operable C2 solution intended for use in integrating the command and coordination of multi-domain components, and enables rapid and accurate decisions for execution in a dynamic battlespace. The solution is a self-contained product that leverages both open and industry standards for application integration and datalink interoperability within a compact form factor. RC3IS can be deployed onto any physical or virtual platform to meet mobility or resiliency requirements.

“Ron Wiegand, PLEXSYS CEO, said, “Including PLEXSYS’ ASCOT and sonomarc as integrated training capabilities within RC3IS enables warfighters to train seamlessly on their operational systems in all LVC environments. The R3CIS team’s agility will certainly influence the MDC2 future.”
