CAE USA Receives Security Excellence Award

CAE USA is a recipient of the2019 James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award,presented by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) in theUnited States. DCSA identifies cleared facilities that exhibit securityexcellence by establishing and maintaining a security program that ensures theprotection of classified information, materials, and programs far exceeding theNational Industrial Security Program requirements.

CAEUSA was one of only fifty-one facilities to receive the recognition out ofapproximately 13,000 cleared facilities across the United States. TheIndustrial Security Achievement Award was established in 1966 in honor of thelate Air Force Colonel James S. Cogswell, who was the first chief of industrialsecurity within the U.S. Department of Defense. He was responsible fordeveloping the principles of the Industrial Security Program, which includes anemphasis on the partnership between industry and government to protectclassified information.

Toqualify, CAE USA had consecutive superior industrial security review ratingsand maintained a persistent degree of excellence and innovation in themanagement, implementation, and oversight of their security program.
