RUAG MRO International’s Jan Uebersax will present at MilSim 2020, during Asia Defence Expo & Conference Series (ADECS) 2020.
An architect of new simulation & training systems, Uebersax will provide insight into approaches for mission success in today’s evolving urban scenarios. The 30-minute presentation, Case Study 1: “Training for Security Operations in Complex Urban Environments” takes place on Tuesday, 4 February.
"Saving lives is our ultimate goal for every simulation and training system we design," said Uebersax, Senior Manager Strategy and Product Management, Simulation & Training, RUAG MRO International.
Uebersax holds a Master of Science in Defence Simulation & Modelling. He has worked for and taught many courses for NATO Modelling and Simulation Center of Excellence (NATO M&S CoE).
He was also Chairman Simulation for Training & Operation Group. This was a follow on to his position as Chairman Training Simulation Working Group in NATO. Concurrently, Uebersax fulfilled positions with the Swiss Armed Forces, including Commanding Officer of the 2nd Infantry School.
ADECS 2020 takes place from Feb.4-5 in Singapore.
