WATS 2020 - Event Update

It is with much regret that we announce the postponement of this year's World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) in Orlando, Florida (due to take place 28-30 April 2020).

We know that this will come as a disappointment to many who, just a few days ago, expressed their desire that WATS continued in April but given the ongoing announcements in the US and many other countries, it is clearly time for some certainty. This is not a decision we have taken lightly: as the world responds to the coronavirus pandemic and the unprecedented global changes it brings, it is the only acceptable decision that could be made.

Our primary concern is focused on our exhibitors, delegates and partners, who in many cases have worked with us for many years, and of course on the health and welfare of company staff, attendees and their respective families and friends.

We want you to know that we remain fully committed to serving our global community and are already working hard to deliver value and business connectivity from today, through the summer and beyond as needed. We will announce these plans in the near future and hope to confirm new dates for a WATS event to be held later htis year. In the meantime it is of upmost importance to us that our industry remains fully connected and business remains enabled and we will do all we can to ensure this is possible.

We will help sustain and improve morale and, together with leaders around the world, to focus on collective efforts to rebuild confidence and ensure that current issues facing safety critical industries are not hindered during this period.

The Halldale team will also be working hard to deliver a successful APATS and a successful EATS with plans to recognize the 30th anniversary of CAT magazine already in full swing. We hope that you will join us and your airline training friends and colleagues in Singapore and Oslo to celebrate and help rebuild our great industry.
