Ibom Air, a scheduled airline operator owned by Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria, has awarded Avsoft International a long-term contract for online pilot training.
Ibom Air will be using Avsoft’s CRJ900 aircraft systems course and multiple general subject courses on Avsoft’s AvLMS platform to provide recurrent pilot ground training. The training system has been approved by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
Avsoft’s Portable Classroom app for iPads allows the training to be delivered online or offline, making training possible with or without an internet connection.
Avsoft’s AvLMS is being used to deliver courses structured for recurrent training, taking account of pilot recency dates with comprehensive reporting facilities to administer all aspects of courses and exam results to satisfy regulatory requirements.
