FlightSafety International now offers training for the Gulfstream G280 aircraft at its Learning Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
The Wilmington Learning Center is FlightSafety’s third Gulfstream G280 training location and home to its fourth simulator for the aircraft. The other three G280 simulators are in service in Savannah, Georgia, and Dallas, Texas.
The simulator is equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion PlaneView 280 avionics suite. It features a dual flight management system with LPV and RNP capabilities, an Integrated Flight Information System, and a Head-up Guidance System with Enhanced Vision System to allow for training on EFVS Touchdown and Rollout. The simulator also features FlightSafety’s CrewView collimated glass mirror display, VITAL 1150 Visual System and new advanced instructor operating station.
Courses for Gulfstream aircraft are available online through instructor-led LiveLearning and at Learning Centers in Dallas, Texas; Hong Kong; Long Beach, California; Savannah, Georgia; Wilmington, Delaware; and at the London Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom.
