After an intensive evaluation period, Air Niugini has decided to permanently improve and upgrade their infoWERK training curriculum with the given software. infoWERK's training package delivered to Air Niugini includes pilot and maintenance training for the DHC-8 series (DHC-8-400 and -300 and -200) which runs over a customized company portal.

Additionally, infoWERK has just snagged AeronautX Luftfahrtschule for its updated digital instruction solution, the Virtual Classroom (VC) - "iv-teach" 2.0.

The Austrian ATO has been a long-lasting customer of infoWERK and has chosen the VC Basic Version, a combination of high-design hardware elements hand-manufactured by the company’s Technik Manufaktur, and an integrated software package to conduct online training sessions and/or briefings for their pilot students.

With vaccines on the way, the demand for career and hourly airport staff will likely climb in 2021. Find out more in  Gateway Opportunities: Airport Careers.

With the delivered hardware, AeronautX receives a mobile design media trolley including 2 displays, high-tech camera, sound bar, integrated PC and mobile microphone. The software package contains a browser-based virtual training and conferencing solution. Depending on the virtual classroom setting, online training can be conducted for up to 10 students or even larger groups up to 50 students, and it also  supports collaboration features for effective online lessons like screen and document sharing, whiteboard, group & private chat, private notes and more.

There are no special hard- or soft-ware requirements for the students, they can attend the virtual classroom sessions from any computer or notebook or even a tablet from home whereas the AeronautX instructors use the pre-defined hard- and soft-ware set up in their training center in Wels/Austria.
