U.S. Representative Stephanie Murphy (D-Fla.) will not seek re-election at the end of her current term. As a supporter of the Simulation and Training community in general and that of Central Florida in particular, she will be much missed.
Her recent appearance as a member of the Congressional Modeling and Simulation caucus at this year’s I/ITSEC event will sadly be her last, but a desire to spend more time with her young children is certainly understandable. We at MS&T Magazine wish her the best of success for the future and thank Rep. Murphy for her advocacy of the community.
