Quantum3D has completed work to provide two new aircraft models to Tinker AFB. Quantum3D was recently contracted by a long-time customer at Tinker AFB to model the KC-135 and KC-46 Tankers for use in their simulators.

In this project, Quantum3D provided the following model features:
- The modeling of these tankers added DOF's and switches to simulate boom movement that is host-controllable via CIGI interface.
- Texturing of the tankers was in accordance with the Tinker AFB air wing and included the correct aircraft markings per the customer's request.
- Quantum3D supplied independent models of the BDS and MPRS drogue that can be attached to each tanker via host control.

Quantum3D's collection of real-time 3D Facets model library contains over 1000 digital models including aircraft, ground vehicles, ships, buildings, and other elements commonly used in creating virtual worlds for simulation-based training and other applications.
