Linda Wolstencroft, P.Eng., MBA, a former contributor to Halldale’s MS&T and CAT magazines, passed away suddenly on 6 February 2023. Respected and highly valued in Canada’s aerospace and defence community, Linda was just 59 years old.
Linda held senior executive positions in aerospace manufacturing companies as well as education and consultancy roles over a three-decade career. She had particular expertise in marketing and sales capture strategies for high-value aerospace products and was known for her integrity, professionalism and generosity.
Former MS&T and CAT Editor Chris Lehman said, “Linda was a professional engineer and businesswoman with a creative spirit and deep understanding of both people and organisations. She helped many companies–- and their employees –- meet their potential while promoting ethical and equitable business cultures. And in the midst of all that she was an accomplished classical pianist. She will be deeply missed.”
Linda is survived by her husband, three sons and six grandchildren. Repose en paix.
