MINT Software Systems has released version 2023.1 of MINT TMS, adding general performance improvements and new features like more types of forms available within TMS Web, new preferences for request warning queue calculation, and more. In addition, the company has also unveiled MINT TMS Mobile 2023.1.

Some of the new features include: Optional Slot Group, Improved Joined Project Loading, and Modify Request Warning Queue Calculation.

With the optional slot group feature, a slot group quantity can be set to 0. By setting the quantity to 0 for the product, users can create complex, optional slot groups with conditions and eligibility that are only enabled when schedulers change the quantity to 1 or more.

With the Improved Joined Project Loading feature, only direct project joins will be loaded when opening a project. When opening a joined project (project or request dialog), the system will now only load projects that are directly joined, cutting down on processing time for complex projects. For example, assuming that Project A is joined with Project B, and Project B is joined with Project C, when opening Project A, both Project A and B will be loaded but not C.

The Modify Request Warning Queue Calculation feature provides three new preferences to increase performance for the request warning queue. 1) request.warning.threads.number preference: allocates more threads to the request warning queue calculation to increase processing power 2) request.warning.threads.priority preference: ensures the system stays responsive by giving the queue calculation a priority 3) request.warning.level.order preference: processes more projects quickly by setting request warning priority group levels.

With the introduction of MINT TMS Mobile 2023.1, the company has redesigned the app to give users a better experience. Additionally, the name of the app has been updated to match the new naming conventions for its other applications.
