21 AIR, an all-cargo airline headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, has awarded Avsoft International a long-term contract for B767-200/300 Special Freighter (SF) online pilot training.
Avsoft has been tasked to develop and deliver a custom B767-200/300SF aircraft systems course to be used for initial and recurrent pilot training.
Chief Pilot Anthony Tirri indicated that Avsoft’s ability to customize courseware to meet an airline’s specific needs was a key factor in 21 AIR’s decision, as well as Avsoft’s ability to deliver courses to any LMS.
Avsoft is currently working with 21 AIR SMEs, using Avsoft’s Envision content authoring tool, to create a course that aligns with the airline’s aircraft configurations and manuals.
Once completed, the B767-200/300SF aircraft systems course, along with a number of Avsoft’s aviation general subject courses, will be delivered through 21 AIR’s LMS.
