The Get Ready for the Winter Season course by infoWERK provides users with a short overview on several important topics. The Clean Aircraft Concept mandates that no aircraft can take off with frozen deposits on critical components. Responsibilities of the de-icing operator and pilot-in-command are highlighted, along with the importance of holdover times and fluid application strategy. The course also outlines effective communication procedures between flight and ground crews during the de-icing/anti-icing process.
