L3Harris has released SimU, its new simulator technician training solution.

The company believes SimU will deliver a more immersive training experience for simulator operators by providing technicians with a comprehensive digital toolbox alongside the company’s enhanced in-person training courses. This includes on-demand instructor led training modules, interactive content, simulated real-life scenario videos and much more.

With SimU, technicians can access training at the most convenient time, and allows them to revisit challenging modules that would otherwise be taught once in a classroom. The ability to work and train simultaneously minimises any impact to simulator operations, whilst maximises the training value for simulator technicians.

SimU will initially launch for training on L3Harris’ Airbus A320 full flight simulators and will be available from January 2024.
