CAE has signed a long-term exclusive pilot training agreement with Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) to deploy and operate an Airbus A320 family full-flight simulator (FFS) in Miami, Florida. The FFS is scheduled to be ready for training in the first quarter of 2024 to support GlobalX’s ongoing growth and the expansion of its Airbus A321 freighter fleet.
“We expect to see our relationship with CAE continue to grow as we focus on having the very highest levels of safety in our operations,” said John Coomes, GlobalX’s Vice President and Director of Operations.
“CAE’s objective is to be close to its customers and provide an immersive training experience that gives pilots the knowledge and confidence to be at their best every time they fly,” said Michel Azar-Hmouda, CAE’s Division President, Commercial Aviation Training.
