AXIS Flight Simulation has successfully qualified the Head-Up-Display (HUD) and Enhanced Vision System (EVS) for Europe’s first Bombardier Challenger CL650 Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS), owned by Rega Swiss Air Rescue and operated by Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) in Zürich.
The FFS uses a rehosted Rockwell Collins ProLine 21 Fusion avionics system. CL650 pilots can now practice using a HUD and EVS system, helping improve visibility, situational awareness and operational safety while inflight.
AXIS Flight Simulation qualified Europe’s first Bombardier CL650 Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS) for Rega in November 2023. Rega is also the first customer of AXIS Flight Simulation’s AX-D Flex, the first front-loading roll-on/roll-off system, announced in May 2024.
