Hong Kong based companies China Aircraft Services Limited (CASL) and PlaneComm have announced the debut of a co-developed new training software application. By leveraging speech recognition technology on mobile device, the training software developed by PlaneComm is particularly designed to equip the airport ground personnel - such as headset staff and tug drivers, with the ready-made dialogues to communicate with the flight deck or air traffic control (ATC) crew in English.

PlaneComm CEO Al Johnson said this training kit is the first-ever for the Hong Kong aircraft maintenance industry. It will be a useful tool to benchmark and improve the communication standards of new and current employees, especially for countries or regions where English is not the first language.
