Skyborne has installed a new UKCAA-approved Airbus A320 Flight Training Device at its Bournemouth Airport facility to enhance training capacity following its APS MCC course.

The FNPT II MCC compliant simulator, supplied by Aviatify, provides trainees with A320 flight experience and flying scenarios. The simulator includes an Instructor Workstation and IOS designed by ProSim-TS, giving instructors tools to monitor and manage training sessions.

Neill Evans, Head of Training, Skyborne, said the new simulator is the second installed at Skyborne's Bournemouth Airport training centre in the past year. He added that the A320 simulator, supplied by Aviatify, gives trainees valuable experience and operational awareness to prepare them for a flying career.

The training device will offer multi-engine training capabilities, alongside Skyborne's Boeing 737 MAX simulator at its Gloucestershire Airport base.
