Peach Aviation Limited (Peach) is inviting applications forthe second Pilot Challenge Program with Airbus.
Growth in the Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) market is helping toboost demand for air travel in Asia. The Pilot Challenge Program with Airbusprovides practical training to selected individuals who want to become pilots,while reducing their financial burden. This is an entirely new program launchedby Peach in collaboration with the ANA Group, Airbus, and Sumitomo MitsuiBanking. This program has received very high interest from individuals who wantto become pilots, with the invitation to the first training program in 2018receiving entries from more than 2,000 aspirants.
The first group of trainees joined Peach’s company onMonday, April 1, 2019 and are already particpating in the training program.
During the current fiscal year, Peach will continue theprogram for more trainees who aspire to become pilots. The program will trainas many people as practical in order to help boost demand for air travel.
Training for the second program starts onApril 1, 2020.
