Lufthansa Cargo is developing a virtual reality training program for aircraft loading supervisors to enhance safety, flexibility, and efficiency. The immersive VR environment enables trainees to practice procedures, safety rules, and communication techniques without relying on live operations. Training participants can focus more deeply on content and build lasting, hands-on understanding of critical loading processes.
The first training module is set to roll out in October 2025. Lufthansa Cargo is among the first in the air freight sector to adopt VR for this role, offering a scalable, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional training formats.
