AMN Healthcare and National University Partner to Relieve Clinician Shortages

A partnership of leaders in healthcare workforce services and nonprofit higher education in California says it is working to answer the healthcare industry's call for an increased supply of well-prepared clinical professionals. AMN Healthcare, a provider of healthcare workforce solutions and staffing services, and National University are working together to provide a sophisticated learning environment in the healthcare services sector for continuing education, client-customized training programs, learning management and professional practice management.

The educational offerings will be provided through AMN Healthcare’s Center for the Advancement of Healthcare Professionals that offers customizable education and training programs for healthcare providers to build their workforces. The partnership will give novice and early-career clinicians a career development ladder to become in-demand professionals – and it will customize learning programs for hospitals, health systems, or other healthcare enterprises such as home-health agencies and clinics.
