The Autism Society of Central Texas produced a training video to help educate law enforcement officers and emergency responders how to approach, talk with and respond to people with autism. The Society worked with Red Media Group, Chester Security, parents and individuals with autism to create the free training video for first responders. The society recommends showing the 26-minute video and then using the National Autism Association (NAA) First Responder Toolkit (available at file:///C:/Users/lori/Downloads/NAA%20FirstResponder%20Toolkit.pdf) to further educate first responders about autism.
