Mimic Technologies Selected as HealthTrust's Supplier for Robotic Surgery Training

Mimic Technologies signed an agreement with HealthTrust to become the medical purchasing organizations new supplier of robotic surgery simulation training products and robotic surgery training consulting services.

With studies showing nearly 50% of robotic surgery costs tied to technical skills of surgeons and their teams and robotic surgery accounting for a growing portion of minimally invasive surgery, HealthTrust says it recognizes the importance and need for training in robotic surgery.

Mimic’s consulting training subsidiary, Mimic Medical Education and Development (MimicMED), provides guidance in successfully implementing best practices to help fully develop new and existing robotic surgery training programs that can help to better train robotic surgeons, minimize costs and risks, and maximize an institution’s investment in robotic surgery.
