Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc., a provider of National Security Solutions, won a $980-million U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Training System Division (NAWCTSD) multiple award Training Systems Contract IV (TSC IV) that’s effective for up-to nine years.

Kratos will supply the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) with new training systems, modifications and upgrades to existing training systems, complementary Instructional Systems Development (ISD) and complementary Training Systems Support. The company will integrate the latest Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) technology with its simulation systems and instructional design approaches to address military training disciplines and requirements in the TSC IV. Its training solutions also include the Kratos Aircrew Training Center (KATC), where Kratos instructors provide customers with training services such as rotary-wing aerial gunnery and search and rescue to ensure mission readiness.

Jose Diaz, Senior Vice President of Kratos Training Services (KTS) says the company will support warfighters with synthetic training environment (STE) technologies that lower costs, provide rapid development and deliver high-fidelity performance.
