JVC-Visualization-Series-Projector-e1543246339686

JVC Visual Systems, a division of JVCKENWOOD USA Corporation, will introduce three new Visualization Series projectors designed for simulation environments at Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference and Trade Show (I/ITSEC) in Booth 1712, which runs Nov. 26-30 in Orlando, Florida. The DLA-VS4600 offers 4000 ANSI lumens, while the DLA VS47NV and DLA-VS45NV include a new dedicated IR LED engine for stimulated NVG exercises.

All three new projectors feature three-chip D-ILA imagers, BLU-Escent laser/phosphor illumination, greater than 12,000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz frame rate, and native DCI 4K resolution (4096x2160), with the DLA-VS47NV adding an addressable 8K e-shift mode. The DLA-VS47NV and DLA-VS45NV deliver 3000 ANSI lumens.

“We can’t wait to show off our new Visualization Series projectors at I/ITSEC, because they are tailor made for the needs of the simulation market,” said Ian Scott, vice president, Visual Systems Division, JVCKENWOOD USA Corp. “They deliver excellent imagery, even for night vision training, and our BLU-Escent technology provides consistent brightness for years with less maintenance than traditional lamp-based projectors.”

BLU-Escent technology with frame-encoded dynamic laser control (FEDLC) uses a solid-state hybrid illumination system that lowers operating costs, allows flexible mounting orientations with unlimited pitch and roll, and provides consistent performance for up to 30,000 projection hours. All three projectors deliver 12-bit color bit depth via DisplayPort 1.2a inputs, as well as six-axis color management with 12-bit gamma correction and digital black frame smear reduction. Other features include built-in auto intensity and color calibration to reduce maintenance requirements, plus user adjustable gamma presets and RS-232 control protocol.

JVC offers a variety of fixed and zoom lenses, as well as custom fixed and adjustable lens mount options, which can be used with the three new Visualization Series projectors. All three projectors are available now, and each includes a five-year parts and labor limited warranty.
