UFA Inc. (UFA) announced the successful delivery of fourATTower Tower Simulators to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). The simulationsystems were delivered to the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace ControlOperations (CFSACO) in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada.

Each of the four ATTower simulators is comprised of a12-channel 75-inch portrait LCD visual system providing photorealistic views ofthe Saguenay-Bagotville Airport (CYBG). Each simulator has instructor andpseudo pilot positions that include individually controllable camera channelsto display 3D visuals, allowing them to see what the controllers see. Providedexercise editing tools allow the school to develop and maintain custom trainingcontent.

Lt. Col. Horner, CFSACO’s commandant noted, “The addition ofUFA’s ATTower system to the RCAF’s training capability ensures the nextgeneration of RCAF warfighters are provided the highest-fidelity simulationenvironment to better prepare them for current operational realities. With thisnew training capability, the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace ControlOperations can provide more advance levels of instruction, simulation andcandidate development while also increasing our ability to force generate agreater number of qualified controllers and operators across multipleoperational streams.”

The new systems allow CFSACO to increase training capacityby 50 percent and enable trainees to train independently to develop theirskills.

The RCAF is the newest addition to UFA’s global militaryclient base.
