Training Continuing at Cat3C

Despite the current global Covid-19 pandemic and continental lockdown, UK-based company Cat3c has quickly turned things around to move its courses online and is continuing to deliver ATPL theory training to its current students via video-conferencing.

While these times are testing, it is Cat3C’s continued responsibility to ensure that training can move forward, with as little interruption as possible for its current courses. While exams have been postponed into the foreseeable future that doesn’t stop students starting, continuing, or even shifting their training to an online remote method.

“Stay home and stay safe is the advice we, like so many others, are reinforcing from the government, but at the same time we want everyone to know that their studies towards becoming a professional pilot can continue, even from the comfort of their own home”, said Nigel Orme, Cat3C Director, “We’re continuing to look at further ways we can assist not only our own students, but also those outside Cat3C affected by this pandemic whose ATPL theory providers have not been able to find a solution.”

“We’re doing everything we can to ensure that not only our existing students can continue to train, but also that new students can also start their studies in the midst of the current situation”, said Tony Pike, Cat3C Director, “We’d like to encourage those that are stuck at home, and looking at starting their studies, to get in touch so we can discuss the options we have to help get you started right away. We don’t want anyone to miss out on the opportunities to progress their studies in light of what is happening.”

With this pandemic disrupting the aviation industry as a whole it is important that training continues as much as is safely possible to be ready for the inevitable recovery, and Cat3C are doing just that, by providing a live video-conferencing training platform to deliver their courses for their students, as uninterrupted as is possible. Cat3c also hope to extend this service to their tutorials as soon as possible.
