The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has completed another Operational Conversion Course on its Yak-130s with the 105 Advanced Jet Training Unit at BAF Base Zahurul Haque.

The BAF’s Yak-130 fleet has completed four pilot conversion courses till date.

The air arm’s Yak-130 fleet handles advanced jet training and the Russian type entered service in 2015.

The BAF recently took delivery of seven new Chinese built Hongdu K-8W jet trainers and is looking at procuring an additional six examples of the type for intermediate jet training tasks. The air arm received its first K-8 jet trainers in December 2014.
