Brunner won a contract to provide its NOVASIM Mixed Reality (MR) Full Motion Simulator in a DA-42 configuration for cadet pilot training at Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) Zürich, Switzerland.
NOVASIM MR is the first full motion Mixed Reality Simulator on the market, the company says, and the result of a strong partnership with FlightSafety International and Varjo. The MR setup enables the pilot in training, wearing a VARJO XR-3 Headset, to interact with a DA-42 cockpit including the G1000 Glass Cockpit and benefit from a 360-degree full virtual external view of Flight Safety’s VITAL 1150 Level-D Image Generator.
