Diamond Aircraft has delivered a new DA40 NG aircraft to Aviotrade d.o.o., its national sales partner in Croatia. This marks the first new Diamond aircraft delivery to Croatia since 2011, when a DV20 Katana was sold to the Croatian Aviation Training Center in Zagreb.

The newly delivered DA40 NG, now carrying the call sign 9A-VIO, will be used to demonstrate the model’s capabilities across Croatia. Aviotrade will launch a nationwide demo tour in collaboration with Austria-based Montana Training OG, which will provide instructor standardization and differences training for pilots and customers.

"The DA40 is the perfect plane for flight training and private use, especially in a country like Croatia and the wider region," said Jane Wang, Director of Sales, Marketing, and Flight Operations at Diamond Aircraft Austria.“

Rajko Rauš, Director of Aviotrade d.o.o., accepted the aircraft earlier this year at Diamond’s headquarters.

Hans Friedrich Gaida, Director of Montana Training, said: “The DA40 NG is the ultimate tool for our future training and demonstration activities. From fleet commonality with the DA42 to the availability of streamlined simulation devices, it meets all requirements—from beginner to advanced professional training.”
