Alsim-Airliner-Sim

Alsim has created the Alsim Airliner, a jet simulator fully designed for MCC and APS MCC training. It has been primarily and entirely thought for pedagogical purposes and meets Competency Based Training (CBT) standards as outlined by ICAO.

After more than 27 years designing and manufacturing training simulators in collaboration with training and aviation professionals, Alsim has observed that a significant number of candidates are failing to meet the required standards necessary to advance their future airline career. The aeronautical requirements are also increasingly demanding, and MCC/APS MCC is now an essential part of aviation training.

Convinced that training in convertible simulators is more beneficial for APS MCC students to acquire the necessary skills and meet the CBT fundamentals (such as leadership, teamwork, decision-making, communication, workload management…), the Airliner is the result of Alsim’s search for an innovative training concept.

It is a hybrid and versatile simulator (Fly-by-wire/Conventional control) designed to address medium to large ATOs’ need for advanced MCC, APS MCC, JOC, LOFT and UPRT training. The simulator is capable of representing different single aisle aircraft, such as the B737MAX, A320, A220, E190-E2 or the SSJ100.

Instructors need standards… and the ability to adapt their teaching methods. Read more in  Dimensions of Instructor Standardization.

Its generic flight model is based on the same requirements as Full Flight Simulators Level D and provides the latest technology available in modern aircraft. It will allow a training organization to load up to 40 EASA credit hours.

The main purpose of the Airliner is to act as an educational tool to help flight schools stand out in providing an enhanced training. But it also aims to respond to the needs of airlines, as tests preparation and assessment are among the many capabilities of this new device as well.
