AVT Simulation Wins Apache Trainer Contract

AVT Simulation, in Orlando, Florida, has been awarded a major contract from the International Program Office, PEO STRI for two Targeted Fidelity Apache Tactical Trainers (TFATT). TFATT is an extension of the AVT product line Targeted Fidelity Aircraft Trainer-Apache (TFAT-A). In addition to the TFATT, AVT will create the Tactical Control Center that will be the overarching architecture to allow role players and the white cell to control the exercise.

These AH-64E Apache simulators will be part of the overall Multi Ship Multi Type (MSMT) that will allow Longbow Crew Trainers to link with the TFATT as their wingman. This opportunity was years in the making and AVT will be working alongside a collaborative group from the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF).
